As a director, Adam's credits range from working on classic works, such as 'Night Mother to modern experimental work, such as Sudden Death Viewpoints. He was the Assistant Director for The Actors' Gang West Coast Revival and Tour of The Exonerated (photo to the right). Adam also chose and directed the plays in The Actors' Gang stage reading series.
In Another F Word, a play which focused on the representation of obesity in American pop culture, Adam created a live performance piece that was seen online through Zoom. He worked directly with the playwright to incorporate pre-recorded segments mixed with live performance to make the piece original and also representative of the restrictions placed on live theater due to the pandemic.
With Sudden Death Viewpoints Adam took the theater theories of Viewpoints and set them in a competitive sporting arena. The production sought to show a connection between theater and sports as similar modes of entertainment.
